Staff Winter Wonderland Party

At Humber College, I was part of the team that organized a staff party, transforming multiple rooms into themed activity zones, ensuring there was something for everyone. One room hosted a paint class where staff could sip on refreshments and unleash their creativity on canvas. In another space, a cozy lounge setting featured acoustic music and relaxed conversation, while a separate game room offered foosball, trivia, and friendly competition. A photo booth with fun props added a whimsical touch, and a DIY dessert station satisfied sweet cravings. The vibrant atmosphere and variety of activities made for an unforgettable celebration of the college community.

Because I couldn’t attend my own graduation, I decided to host a special ceremony and extend it to others who had missed theirs due to COVID. We dressed up a stage, donned caps and walked together in front of friends and family—turning what could have been an isolated disappointment into a shared celebration of resilience, achievement, and hope.

Oscars-themed party where every guest got to play filmmaker for the night, submitting their own homemade videos to be on the big screen. We decked the place out with classic movie treats—popcorn, candy, and a full dinner spread—plus a celebratory champagne pop to kick off the awards ceremony. After all the videos rolled, we had a round of voting, and the winners took home their own mini “Oscars,” complete with acceptance speeches and plenty of camera flashes. It was an unforgettable evening that turned everyone into a star for a night. Everyone even got to walk down the red carpet!
Speed Friending
At the very start of our tree planting season, I organized a “Speed Friending” session designed to spark connection and community right away. Everyone wrote down two questions and tossed them into a hat; I would draw one at random and read it aloud, then pairs had two minutes to dive into conversation. Once time was up, we’d rotate to a new partner and repeat, ensuring everyone had the chance to break the ice and form those early, meaningful bonds before we dug into our shared mission of planting trees together.
I hosted, managed, and organized numerous webinars with the Lymphedema Association of Ontario, each focused on delivering education, fostering support, and building a strong community for individuals affected by lymphedema. From coordinating guest speakers to overseeing technical logistics, I ensured that every virtual event provided a welcoming space for sharing experiences, expert insights, and vital resources.
Annual General Meeting (AGM) Trillium Health Partners
I played a key role in Trillium Health Partners' Annual General Meeting by helping manage logistics and facilitating effective communication among attendees. Additionally, I assisted in hospital tours, providing valuable insights into our facilities and healthcare practices. My efforts helped ensure a smooth event and showcased our commitment to excellence.

I’ve watched a humble gathering transform into something extraordinary when every little detail clicks into place, from the first glimmer of excitement in the guests’ eyes to the last tearful goodbye. That’s the magic I chase. It’s the rush of seeing months of planning culminate in an atmosphere alive with joy, laughter, and heartfelt connection. Every event has its own story, and my passion lies in making each one unforgettable, filling it with the warmth and wonder that bring people closer and leave them reminiscing long after the lights go down.
