WRITE A STORY IN LESS THAN 100 WORDS

Fear wavered over Charlie’s mind as he watched his home at the mercy of mother nature. The twisting and turning under his feet reminded him of how hungry she can be. Charlie looked in all directions at the vast unknown. He knew he was the only person for miles and had to take action into his own hands. The rapid onset of the storm came overhead like God pulling the blinds down on the world. Charlie took a deep breath and hung on tight as the first punch was thrown and washed over his body. He persevered and took the hit of mother nature until she loosened her grip. Charlie smiled as the clouds parted above the waves and he whispered to himself, “Smooth sailing from here.”
